Jimmy Crikey is the alien boy who was orphaned on Earth when his ambassador parents succumbed to influenza, leaving their baby in the care of the kindly ‘Aunt’ Ethel. All was well until Jimmy started going to school. There, because he looked different, Jimmy was picked on and given ‘special’ attention. He was bullied to the point where he ran away in an attempt to find a place where he could fit in. He did more than fit in! He overcame the bullies and grew into the hero of Roombelow, saving the town from several potential disasters, and also befriended the four witches who were guardians of Earth’s realms. But his best friend was Gemma, the little lady he rescued from the bottom of the well, but didn’t know how she got there.

Jimmy blossomed into the boy with homes above and below the Earth’s surface and fiends in his home planet of Attalia, a planet beyond the stars. Jimmy did not possess the power of magic but he certainly had some special skills which came useful when his back was to the wall.
